please feel free to submit poems/prose/stories via email to kathyvirgw@yahoo.com. the city does not necessarily have poems about the city, but is meant to provide a stained glass motif of various scenes, thoughts. the city is dark and sombre, cool and neon-lighted, floating and ethereal, with patches of green metroparks and splotches where children play in opened fire hydrants. the city has many inhabitants.

i ask to be able to post poems i've accepted at my discretion in current and future issues, online and hard copy. i need to be able to promote the site and publications, using the material accepted at my discretion. i don't care where else you may publish the poems i've accepted as long as i can use them, also.

i am working on integrating a database that works with these pages. this will allow anyone who has an account to upload their poetry for display on this site. featured poets will be accessible through the main page, but this is meant as a forum for intellectual expression so other poets will have a common area to post poems, prose, and stories.
