the ashes of smoldering fire

unappreciated
unshaved
unavailable
unemployed (hes a poet)
allergic to cats
doesnt like dogs
pays more attention to his dog than you
lives with his momma
lives with his ex-wife
lives with his wife
(says he) doesnt know hes gay

unresolved issues
unresolved warrants
his car is in the shop
can you lend me some money
I need a ride to see my parole officer
I didnt say when I was coming over
shes just a friend
hes just a friend
I only had a couple beers
I swear it didnt mean anything
could you get me another beer

trust me, honey, come on,
you can trust me
