it really is falling now; do what you want to do, oh do. we have travelled 93 million miles and it is happening/will happen, let us go boldly into the orange light. he said it would be beautiful, and i can see it now.

the kindness of strangers

i rolled over an over in my car
the spaceship that flew over the grass
and trees with no control, too much gravity.
my brakes didn't work where the sky was my floor
but two thin straps held my life secure
in the upsidedown world where zach and john
passing   parked  ran to meet me simply hanging
safe breathing organism     zach standing
human outside the open window
zach's human solid voice telling me
to unstrap and climb out, engine smoking
and zack on two feet delivers me
into the mystery of living this life
one more time by the grace of the seatbelt
and universe bloated with love accepting me
home.
