penetrating shadows

like no tomorrow

like only this

\nthis planet this sun this solar system
\nthis solar system in a honey jar<\/p>\n
This mote in honey now
\nthis dust on the shelf the sill<\/p>\n
Only this
\nthis room this solar system
\nin this honey jar<\/p>\n
Only this
\nthese animals these entities these peoples
\nthis matter mattering
\nthis matter looking at spirit
\nthis spirit
\nthis spirit with multiple eyes<\/p>\n
Eyes in the honey
\neyes on the shelf
\neyes in the bliss
\nonly this–
\nthis that, oh only this<\/p>\n
Oh only this
\na record on a shelf
\na record of a spinning galaxy
\nthis galaxy in a universe of universes
\nthis this
\nthis womb of forms and back again
\nOnly this
\nthis bliss…<\/p>\n

Stung<\/strong><\/p>\n
I smelled the rain before
\nEver a drop touched the
\nEarth splashing a sweet
\nFragrance thru my open
