Madonna and Child by Bree

Madonna and Child by Bree

I opened the window tonight
And night jasmine pulled thread
From an angel’s wing,
A quiet prayer for my tears

Hafiz speaks of the sacred
in divine everyday tasks—
listening to the wind,
being in the moment

The fire will burn my hands
If I open them up

When I walk away,
there is a flame on the horizon.
butterflies circle one another
Whirling, dancing energy
Rising up from Earth’s heart.

This is the World card
That I pull, summoning my truth for the day.

What if God is a child,
the world a marble in his
blue jean pocket?
